Silvestre had an amazing week. He is a very well behaved young man and he never quits. Even when he's uncomfortable, he tries his best. I have been very impressed with him. Way to go Silvestre!

Jasmine has established herself as a quiet leader. I can rely on her to stay engaged during lessons and to be an example of how to behave in class. She actively participates and usually tries her best.

Mario has shown some superior thinking skills this week, solving a confusing timeline question that I was even struggling with. He is also getting used to trying his best every day. Now, if I could only get him to stop shouting out answers! Actually, he is so enthusiastic with his learning, the shouting is something I can learn to live with.

Keven has established himself as a top student at Tarver. He has improved his decision making skills and is a natural leader. Hopefully, he will be trained as a mediator and hone those leadership qualities that will serve him for the rest of his life. I see many great things in Keven's future, so long as he chooses to stay on the right path. Keven is one of Tarver's gifted students and he has chosen to remain at Tarver. I truly enjoy his presence in the class because I have to extend the lessons to accommodate his needs. In doing so, I give the other students the opportunity to further understand lessons, to challenge their abilities, and pushing a handful of students to the next level. Way to go Keven and keep up the hard work!

Adamari is new to Tarver this year and she has been a wonderful addition to our student body. She is a very inquisitive student and has no problem saying, "I don't get it!" during a lesson, which I truly appreciate. Adamari is a very social girl, but is completely respectful of when it's appropriate and when it's not. Her excitement for everything that's happening in her life, minute by minute, is truly amazing to be around. Thanks for being a "splendid" part of our class!

Ramses is our super enthusiastic multiplier. When I say "Math Around the World," the boy just can't contain his excitement. Ramses has got a really good head on his shoulders and he always tries his best. He takes responsibility for his actions and is eager to become an outstanding young man. Keep your head about you Ramses, and you'll go far!
